Custom Measurements & Styles ("the app") is a Shopify app made by BoutiqBiz. It lets stores show style choices and measurement fields on their product pages. This policy explains what information the app uses and how.

Information from merchants

When a store installs the app, Shopify gives us the store's domain and an access token so the app can work. We keep these in our database for as long as the app is installed.

The styles, measurement fields, appearance settings and setup progress you create are saved in your own Shopify store (as app data on your store), not on our servers. Images you upload are saved in your store's Shopify Files.

The app also reads how many of your products carry the tags you use, to show your setup progress. It doesn't copy or store your product data.

Information from shoppers

The styles, custom field answers and measurements a shopper enters are added to their cart and order in your Shopify store. They are stored by Shopify as part of the order. The app does not copy them to our servers, and we don't collect shoppers' names, emails, addresses or payment details.

How we use information

We use the information above only to run the app for your store: to show your style picker, save your settings and check your plan. We don't sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to track shoppers.

Deleting your data

If you uninstall the app, Shopify asks us to delete your store's data and we remove your store's access token and session from our database. Your settings saved in your store are removed along with the app's data in your store. Order details stay in your Shopify orders, which you control.

We respond to Shopify's customer data requests and deletion requests as required.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
